Our Story
"Noah's wine" refers to alcoholic beverages. After the account of the great flood, the biblical Noah is said to have cultivated a vineyard, made wine, and became intoxicated. Thus, the discovery of fermentation is traditionally attributed to Noah because this is the first time alcohol appears in the Bible.
Since 2012 Dr. Bagley, Sr. has been making home made wine for friends and family members in the same manner. He fine-tuned his recipe over the years to now have a smooth, sweet, red wine that has a full body grape taste.

An in-depth look at our holistic products:
       Our products are all holistic. Meaning our wine is 100% organic, no chemicals, and filtered using Reverse Osmosis. We try and make our products in the same manner as they used to do in Noah's time. Following the traditional wine making process we are bringing the genuine nature of wine back to its purest possible state. Organic Elixirs Winery is only one of five wineries in the nation to make a fully holistic wine.
1. All grapes are organic and we only use pure 100% grape juice from Midwest framers.
2. Each product will not have any chemicals and is holistic. Organic Elixirs Winery firmly believe that wine does not need chemicals. Most winery's use chemicals to control the alcohol content. We want our wine to be true to the nature of the environment of the yeast. We do not use sulfates in our wine. Sulfates are typically added in wine as a preservative. We also do not add these commonly used chemicals in the wine making process like Potassium Sorbate and Campden Tablets. Which are used to stop the yeast from fermenting the newly added sugar and to halt the ferment before all the available sugars are converted by the yeast, hence controlling the amount of residual sweetness in the final product.
3. Alcohol by Volume (ABV): is at +/- 19% - Naturally holding the type of yeast we use from growing. Our wine has a higher ABV then most other wines. Since we do not use chemicals we let our yeast naturally die out instead of using chemicals to stop the yeast from naturally fermenting.
4. Reverse osmosis (RO): is a water purification technology that uses a partially permeable membrane to remove ions, molecules and larger particles from drinking water. Reverse osmosis can remove many types of dissolved and suspended chemical species as well as biological ones (principally bacteria) from water leaving a purer type of water than filtered water.
5. Shelf Life: Can be stored in a cool dark place for over 3 years (refrigeration and/or cooler); or if open to sunlight and room temperatures please drink within 1 year (go off the smell of the wine).
6. Unfiltered: All of our wines will be unfiltered so to have the full taste of traditional and naturally produced wines. We make our wine unfiltered because filtering can strip a wine's flavors and aromas, and unfiltered wines have a more appealing texture and mouthfeel.
